What data we collect
We deliberately keep data collection to a minimum. We do not run advertising trackers, we do not build user profiles, and we do not buy or sell personal data. The only place we collect personal data is our contact form, and only the fields you fill in, which may include:
- Your name and, where relevant, your role.
- Your email address, phone number, and company or fund name.
- Company details you choose to share (website, sector, stage, target raise, timeline).
- The message and any context you write to us.
For security and abuse-prevention only, our server also records the IP address a submission comes from, so we can limit spam and automated abuse. A short-lived session cookie is used to protect the form against cross-site request forgery. See our Cookies Policy for details.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
We use the information you send solely to read your enquiry, reply to you, and, if it makes sense for both sides, discuss working together. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to a message you sent us and, where a project follows, taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract. We do not use your data for marketing, and we do not send newsletters unless you explicitly ask us to.
Who can see it
Enquiries are read by the Brainflow team. Your submission is stored in our own database and sent to us by email so we do not miss it. We do not share your data with third parties for their own purposes. Certain service providers that help us operate the site and our email (for example, our hosting and email provider) may process the data strictly on our behalf and under confidentiality obligations.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data only as long as needed to handle your request and, where a relationship follows, for the duration of that relationship plus any period required by law. If nothing comes of an enquiry, we delete or anonymise it once it is no longer useful. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete, or export the personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict how we use it. To exercise any of these, email info@ brainflow.digital. If you are in the EU/EEA and believe we have mishandled your data, you also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority (in Spain, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, aepd.es).
International note
Brainflow operates from Barcelona and Montevideo and works with clients globally. Where data is processed outside your country, we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected to a standard consistent with this policy.
Changes
If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date above. For anything unclear, just write to us, we would rather answer a question than have you guess.
